Act Your Age, Eve Brown by Talia Hibbert

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars!

Summary:

Eve Brown is spoiled. That's what her parents had said, isn't it? She had been living in their home, bouncing from career to career like she wasn't wasting her parents' money.

Time to get her shit together. After a dramatic drive, of course. It just so happened that Eve found an adorable B&B looking for a chef and she had accidentally ran over the owner. It also just so happened that the owner was a sexy grumpy weird man who made Eve feel...something.

All she has to do is work this job until her party planning gig begins and she can prove that she wasn't a complete screw up to her family.

Review:

Yet again, Talia Hibbert has knocked it out of the park! This book has everything: disabled representation, extremely steamy scenes, adorable flirtation, and hilarious banter. Despite some of the classic rom com tropes like enemies to lovers, this book is a tender love story with a heartwarming plot.

Verdict:

I absolutely recommend this book and this series to everyone (even if you think you don’t like romance)! The accompanying playlist is a blessing and should be a staple!

Favorite Quote:

“What if I’d killed somebody?”

“I wouldn’t be surprised, and I would visit you in prison if necessary.”

She gasped, all feigned outrage. “You wouldn’t offer to help me hide the body?”

Jacob’s lips quirked without permission.

“You’ve been here quite a while Sunshine, and there’s no police sniffing around, so I imagine you hid it just fine yourself.”

Content Warning:

There is some ableism connected with the character Jacob due to his autism. Please read with caution if you are sensitive to this topic.
